Lochos is an aptitude the deals with uncanny physical abilities, brute force and speed. Lochos was developed by the Aeon Corporation in order to provide super soldiers that could handle the brutal threats posed by supernaturals. Lochos practitioners are are usually pulled from "weak" actives who for some reason or an other are able to be triggered by Prometheus treatment but show weak expression in an other aptitude. Rather than waste the psion, a bio-noetic manipulation of their bodies to is performed maximize their physical potential instead. Lochos generally work in elite teams but are sometimes distributed among security forces, Norca or the Legions to give them a tactical advantage.

Lochos practitioners require additional psionic treatments to improve their abilities which require subsequent dunkings in the Prometheus chamber. The noetic intensity of the treatment precludes a Lochos from having cyber that alters their bones, muscles or physical attributes (other ware is OK). Most Lochos consider cybernetic implants of this sort to be inferior, vulgar or "cheating" and consider the psionic modes to be more natural.

Basic Technique
Sacred Band
Lochoi are training is designed to make them tough and strong-willed. Their training creates an bond that is intensified when they work as a team.
Prior to entering combat, the Lochoi can attune themselves to one another by spending a point of Psi and rolling Psi. Each success on the Psi roll allows them to ignore one wound level starting at the highest and moving down from there. The shaking off of the wound levels is capped by the number of Lochoi are in the team. So if there are two Lochoi in the party and they make use of the Sacred Band they may ignore the Hurt health level.

Dinami Technique
Dimani treatment provides exceptional brute force and strength. The psion's bones and muscles are made denser and stronger allowing the psion to perform uncanny feats of strength. Dimani is literal re-configuration of the psion's body allowing him to go reach and exceed human strength capacity. To maintain this level of performance the psion must train and eat like amounts professional athletes.

System: The psion is able to channel his Psi into his muscles and bones making them stronger and more dense. The psion may raise his strength (maxed by his rating in Dinami) for a scene.

Through the use of this technique the the psion's body becomes conditioned allowing him to add an automatic success for any strength test for each point he has in Dinami. Thus, the character succeeds at most Strength feats without needing to make a roll at all. In melee and brawling combat, the automatic successes are applied to the damage roll results.

Anemos Technique
Anemos deals with the noetic manipulation of the psion's nervous, musculo-skeleton and cardiovascular system allowing for unknown grace and speed.


The psion may spend Psi points to raise his Dexterity (maxed by his rating in Amenos) for a scene.

The psion spends a single point of Psi. The same turn, he gains a number of additional full actions equal to her Anemos rating. These additional actions must be physical. So a psion with Anemos 4 who spends a blood point may perform a total of five physical actions in her next turn. The actions occur at the end of the turn (the psion's regular action still takes place per her initiative roll). Normally, a character without Edge must apply a dice pool penalty if she wants to take multiple actions in a single turn. A character using Edge performs his extra actions (including full movement) without penalty, gaining a full dice pool for each separate action. Extra actions gained through Celerity may not in turn be split into multiple actions.

Aspis works exactly like Fortitude. The Mode is allowed to soak Aggravated damage with Argyraspides dice. It is always in effect. It enhances standard soak rolls. And so on.

System: The Psions rating in Aspis adds to his Stamina for the purposes of soaking normal damage. A character with this Mode may also use his dots in Aspis to soak aggravated damage (psions cannot normally soak things like vampire bites, werewolf claws, magical effects, fire, sunlight or massive physical trauma). So a psion with Aspis 3 has three dice to soak aggravated damage.
